[[[Once I figure out how to make mh maps them too but currently main focus is the fun basics]]]
I am currently working on a map that has a series of related rooms [Bunny Track Map] that are very similar in light shading / size/ and difficulty. You try the map for how it is with no mutators or bots to see if you can get to the end or whatever but I am looking for some one with UE2.0 knowledge that would be interested in helping me complete this map with the same pattern i have been following except if you think there is better ideas you have for it we will definately just collaborate plus I am sure i wanna change things up[I already have 4 good levels].--but remember if you are one of those mappers who just wanna play it then get right into building ideas I wanna follow the same room size / lighting effects[which i did not use any] / difficulty ascension as you proceed. If interested first please test the map then pm or reply or comment on my profile we will take it from there.
One more thing for you neat mappers i just want you to know I am about the difficulty level not the prettyness level. But i tried my best to keep the pattern im following as simple as possible tell me what ou think

Level 2-Image
Level 3-Image
Level 4-Image

I put ONLY two files in the the zip folder I have one name bt1.unr and the other bt1 copy.file the .unr is what you will drag and drop into the /maps folder and the other is what you need to use to open it in unreal editor 2.0.
Best Fun,
Johnny

We have a couple of group mapping projects running over at Hooks ship.
Chamberly is a bit of a BT fan, and may be up for lending a hand.

Yeah, this site TFD is mainly a UT directory.
You should direct all these UT questions to HUTP -> http://hooksutplace.freeforums.org :D

Indeed. Think of this site as the hub that will get you to where you need to be.

There are plenty of tools and UEd addons, to make the job quicker and easier.
Unreal Dungeon maker can help make maps quickly, and there are various addon brushbuilders, to make complex shapes in UEd.
There are various import/export tools so you can reuse existing resources from other games etc.

I maintain (or try) a large collection of editing links and resources, including hosting a few rare decoration packs.
There are links to tutorials and free tools, textures, models and links to more collections of resources.

That what im talkin bout i like editing my own brushes i even use 3d editing programs like blender and milkshape just to make my own brushes. But i don't use other's presets i like to keep the map as simple as possible and beautiufl without using any presets i make my own textures and and brushes it is only scripting i can not get into yet [[ I promise when i get ut2004 in the mail i will not stop making ut99 maps cuz i love all unreal ]] [[( and yes unreal is that addictive bahaha )]]
